Magic Al is an artist and producer based out of Hillsborough, North Carolina. This is a place for beat tapes, four on the floor, chasing accidents, gentleness, misspellings, collaborations and whatever else happens along the way - keeping the joy afloat while holding space for all the things.
Al runs a recording space, Bedtown Studios, that seasonally moves from Hillsborough, NC, to Smith Mountain Lake, VA. He is currently touring with Hiss Golden Messenger and Beth Orton. He spends his time off the road producing in the studio.
